Recently we have completed the repair and service of a Zeitner watch. Now, for us this is nothing too unusual, except this watch was sent to us for repair all the way from South Africa.
The client had been looking for a reliable watch repairer to provide a quartz service & glass replacement on his precious watch, but all the people he had approached in South Africa were not able to complete the repair. The watch is an obsolete, discontinued model and local watch repairers were struggling to source the parts. It was then that he found us on the internet and got in touch.
Even though there are over 8,000 miles between Nottingham and Cape Town we were able to assess the watch, evaluate what was needed for the repair and service and provide an accurate quote which he accepted. The watch was then safely packaged up and posted to us, for the work to be carried out.
Repairing luxury watches for our clients is something we complete thousands of times a year. Even though parts were scarce we were able to complete this particular repair by going the extra mile and sourcing ‘new-old-stock parts’ and also manufacturing parts ourselves from technical specifications.
